After graduating NYU's film school Oudi opened his first
photography studio on the Bowery next to CBGB. Dedicated to
advertising and publicity, Oudi worked with agencies such as
Ogilvy & Mather, Young & Rubicam and Grey Advertising. His
corporate accounts included RCA Records, MTV, General
Motors, Pepsi Cola, Simon & Schuster and Playboy magazine.
His original, dynamic and often playful approach earned him
photography assignments such celebrities as Tina Turner, Billy
Joel and Lee Iacocca.
Not limiting himself to adult portraits and product
situations, Oudi is as much at home photographing children,
approaching each shoot with such passion and enthusiasm
that the children become his own.
The need for exploration moved him to Mexico where he
discovered the beauty of the old world. Rejuvenated and
transformed by his time in Oaxaca and Mexico City, and at
"La Academia de San Carlos".
He returned to the US a completely different man.
Oudi has a sensitive eye and the soul of a true artist. His
photography is timeless, believing that less is more. His black
and white photography seduces the viewer into the work while
his color photography is vibrant and cutting edge.
Whether the model is an arresting nude whose curving body
blends with the ripples of a white sand desert, or a still life of a
sole glass of milk beckoning you to quench your thirst.
Oudi's subjects come to life.
